(NewsNation) — A deal to end the war in Gaza and return Israeli hostages is "very close," President Donald Trump told reporters Friday.

"It’s looking like we have a deal on Gaza," he said. "I think it’s a deal that will get the hostages back. It’s going to be a deal that will end the war, it’s going to be a deal— it's going to be peace.”

Netanyahu is scheduled to visit the White House on Monday to meet with Trump, according to the Associated Press.

The details of the deal — and with whom it was brokered — have not been made clear.
