Multiple victims injured in reported shooting at Pennsylvania university

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Multiple people were shot at a Chester County university this evening, according to the District Attorney's Office.

The Chester County District Attorney's office said police are investigating a reported shooting at Lincoln University in Lower Oxford Township Saturday evening.

The District Attorney's Office said multiple victims were injured in the shooting.

"Please avoid the area at this time," the office said in a statement.

Chester County Commissioner Eric Roe asked for prayers for students and faculty.

Governor Josh Shapiro said he had been briefed on the shooting and said his administration "has offered our full support to President Allen and local law enforcement."
