'Kiyapo' intensifies into typhoon, exits PAR

Tropical Storm Kiyapo (international name: Noul) rapidly intensified into a typhoon before dawn Saturday and exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility, but  Signal No. 1 remains hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon.
