Comelec to Congress: Restore P9-billion budget

The Commission on Elections has asked Congress to restore the P9.12 billion removed from its proposed 2027 budget, warning that the reduction could leave the Comelec short of thousands of vote-counting machines needed for the 2028 general elections.
