(NewsNation) — Bryan Kohberger's new mugshot was released Thursday after he was booked into a state prison in Idaho.
NewsNation has learned Kohberger was transferred from Ada County Jail to Idaho's maximum security prison on Wednesday.

Kohberger was given four consecutive life sentences Wednesday after taking a plea deal for the 2022 murders of college students Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin in Moscow, Idaho.
He declined to speak when given the opportunity, before a judge handed down the sentences for murder and an additional 10-year sentence for burglary.
