Amber Alert issued for 9-year-old New York girl

(NewsNation) — Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a nine-year-old girl they say was abducted from Lake George, New York.

Melina Galanis Frattolin is described as five feet tall and weighing 100 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt, shorts and white Adidas sneakers.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said she was last seen Saturday night around 9:40 p.m. EST in a white van on I-87 southbound near Exit 22 in Lake George. They added that she was taken under circumstances that led them to believe that Frattolin is in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death.
